When replacing the main engine piston rings on site, make sure the main engine is completely shut down, and also turn off the cooling system and the lubricating oil supply. Use specialized tools (such as piston ring expanders) for disassembly and assembly. Clean the ring grooves and precisely measure the end clearance and side clearance of the new rings. Follow the operation procedures strictly.
