Heat Detector and Marine Detector Flame Detector

No.601F-M
The working principle of the flame detector is mainly based on the light radiation induced by the flame. When material burns, it produces smoke, heat, and visible or invisible light radiation, which are the targets of flame detectors. The flame detector uses a spectral sensor to respond to the ultraviolet visible light and infrared radiation of the flame, determines the fire alarm through calculation, and sends out an alarm signal.

Working Principle

The working principle of the flame detector is mainly based on the light radiation induced by the flame. When material burns, it produces smoke, heat, and visible or invisible light radiation, which are the targets of flame detectors. The flame detector uses a spectral sensor to respond to the ultraviolet visible light and infrared radiation of the flame, determines the fire alarm through calculation, and sends out an alarm signal. to be specific:

1、Photosensitive element receives light signal:
The core part of the flame detector is a photosensitive element, usually a photodiode. These components are responsible for receiving the light signal generated by the flame as it burns.

2、Photoelectric conversion:
The light signal received by the photosensitive element is converted into the corresponding electrical signal. This process is achieved through the properties of the semiconductor material within the photodiode.

3、Electrical signal amplification and processing:
The received electrical signal is amplified and processed to better determine whether there is a flame. This step is usually done by the control circuit.

4、Alarm signal output:
When the detector determines that there is a flame, it will send an alarm signal through the alarm device to remind people of the occurrence of the fire.

Product Feature
The main features of the flame detector include fast response, ‌ high sensitivity, ‌ strong anti-interference ability, ‌ and suitable for various environmental conditions. ‌

Flame detectors, such as the infrared flame detector and the ultraviolet flame detector, ‌ are designed to detect visible or invisible optical radiation produced by the combustion of substances ‌ these optical radiation include ultraviolet and infrared rays. ‌ These detectors exhibit special abilities early in a fire, ‌ by detecting different wavelengths of ultraviolet or infrared light contained in the flame. ‌
